Leadership and Engagement is housed within the Office of the Dean of Students at the University of Iowa. Our programs help students develop lifelong leadership skills, offer incredible experiential service-learning, and provides civic engagement opportunities to students both on and off-campus.
We strive to prepare students to lead and serve in their communities! Successful students develop skills and knowledge to become civic-minded leaders, become more mature in their thinking, assume greater responsibility for their own lives and learning, and develop their understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Leadership and Engagement is comprised of three main focus areas: Student Engagement and Campus Programs, Leadership, Service, and Civic Engagement, and Fraternity and Sorority Life.
