The Community Space of Leadership, Service, and Civic Engagement is a centralized location where resources for service and volunteer opportunities can be provided.

These opportunities are available for students and student groups with or without prior experience in service. That means, if you have never participated in in-service events, we are more than happy to help guide you through the process of getting started. If you have prior experience with service, but would like to expand your participation further, this is a great opportunity to brainstorm and establish new relationships with community partners.

Volunteer Advising

To get started, we encourage you to begin by setting up an advising appointment. Volunteer advising appointments consist of a one-on-one meeting in-person in The Community Space or virtual through Zoom with our Volunteer Coordinator. During this session, students will be able to express special interests in service opportunities, discuss the means of service, and get connected with community partners and non-profit organizations. In discussing local service opportunities, we would like to take into account your schedule, interests, and any other factors to ensure you enjoy and feel supported through your experience as an avid servant leader.
