How to create a shared email address

Student organization email addresses are provided through Outlook. To get a student organization email/shared departmental account, fill out the form at the link below. 

Student organizations require approval from Leadership, Service & Civic Engagement in order to create a shared email account. Once you have an email address, you can visit ITS Help website to learn how to manage and access your account.

How to update users on a shared email address

If your student organization already has an email account, and a student officer needs to gain access or transfer access between student organization officers, you should:

  1. Contact the current account owner for the request.
  2. The account owner must contact the ITS Help Desk and ask them to add the new person to the shared account.
  3. This will give the user permissions to access the account.
