What's a Community Partner?

Great question! A Community Partner is an organization that has a formal partnership with United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties (UWJWC). These partnerships help us understand the root causes of issues in our community, and enable us to create more innovative solutions and better use our resources to meet the needs of our community. You can read more about all of UWJWC's Community Partners on their website.

What's a Campus Connection?

A Campus Connection is an organization that does not have a formal partnership with UWJWC. However, we think that the Campus Connections enable us to achieve our mission of improving health, education, and income in our community, so we lend a helping hand! In the past, we've had Campus Connections with Hope Lodge Iowa City, Melrose Meadows, and numerous other organizations! Have an idea for our next Campus Connection? Send us an email and let us know!
